On NFL Network's "Good Morning Football", Kyle Brandt named the Giants' wide receiver trio of Odell Beckham Jr., Brandon Marshall, and Sterling Shepard the best in the NFL. Brandt analogized the triple threat to members of a rock band.

"I look at (Shepard) as the drummer." Brandt said about the Giants' 2016 draft pick. "He keeps the rhythm, but he's in the back...He said his concentration in the offseason is Yards-After-Catch, which he was not great at (last season). He wants to get the ball and make plays like Odell does."

"My bassist in this power trio is Brandon Marshall," Brandt continued. "He's been around. He's been in different bands. He's played with different front men...Of course the front man, blonde hair, crazy cleats, Odell, the ultimate rock star. He can do it all.

"So this is my trio. We've got the young drummer, the classic rock god, and the veteran bassist. I think that's tough to beat."

Cameron DaSilva of FOX Sports ranked the Top 15 players in the NFC East. Five Giants made his list, with Beckham Jr. perched at the very top.

"It's not often a wide receiver is the best player on his team, let alone in the entire division. However, Beckham is a different type of player, and he isn't your typical receiver. He might be the best wideout in the NFL next to Julio Jones and Antonio Brown, but his ceiling is even higher."

Also on the list was defensive tackle Damon Harrison at number seven, Cornerback Janoris Jenkins ranked ninth, Safety Landon Collins at 12, and defensive end Olivier Vernon at 14. Defensive end Jason Pierre-Paul received a "Just Missed" mention.

On Harrison, DaSilva wrote, "You could poll 20 NFL players, and at least 19 would tell you Harrison is the best run stopper in the league."
